HISWA in-water show suggests market recovery

The watersports market is clearly picking up if the preliminary results of the visitor survey and exhibitors, response to the HISWA Amsterdam in-water Boat Show 2010 are anything to go by, report the organisers HISWA Multimedia.
"Two out of every three visitors indicated that they expected to buy products and services exhibited at the show within two years," says the end-of-show report. "And around 80 percent of those with plans to purchase visited the exhibition with that purpose in mind. This means that around half of all HISWA Amsterdam in-water Boat Show 2010 visitors came to the exhibition as part of their intention to buy. In total the boat show, which took place from 31 August to 5 September in Marina Seaport Ijmuiden, attracted over 26,000 people, the same number as in 2009."
